A few weeks ago, while in a relaxed and meditative state, I had the thought, “I honor my body with my thoughts.” When I received that phrase in my meditative state I instantly knew what it meant. I was already aware of the need to be conscious of my thoughts, and this was a reminder from the universe of the importance of that, and to continue to work on this. For a good portion of my life I was unconscious of my thoughts, and in many ways living unconsciously.
Becoming more conscious of my thoughts is a skill that I’ve been learning and working on. I hadn’t been paying as much attention to it at that time as I should have, so it was a loving and welcomed reminder to pay increased attention to my thoughts.
Everything is made up of energy including the words we speak, and the thoughts we think. The law of attraction tells us what we think about we attract. Therefore, it is important to monitor our thoughts in order to determine if they are in line with what we want in life. Are our thoughts positive, negative, jealous, or judgmental? What is it that we spend our time focused on and thinking about? It’s important to pay attention if we want to create the life we want. Thoughts are powerful things and have an energy to them. I challenge you to reflect and ask yourself what story are your thoughts telling?
