Hi, I’m Marissa!
On this website I share my experiences exploring intuition and consciousness in their many forms, as well as a lot of fun travel stories!
My journey into the depths of exploring intuition has been unfolding and taken on many different forms throughout the years. I did not grow up with any extraordinary abilities, or having psychic experiences. Since I was a teenager I was interested more of the mystical aspects of life. It was an interest that began to develop and led me to consume endless information on the subject of intuition, consciousness, and the unseen world. I began learning energy healing, exploring techniques like Theta Healing, and became a certified Reiki Master, although my favorite form of energy healing is very innate and involves letting my intuition guide me. I believe we all have “gifts” or strong suits that are innate to us. We can also develop our gifts and abilities with practice. In my experience, these gifts awaken, and also strengthen, at different points in our lives.
I attended college at California State University, Long Beach, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. I later attended the University of California, Irvine (UCI) where I earned a Master’s Degree in Criminology, Law and Society.
For nearly a decade I worked as a professional in the criminal justice field. It was during that time that I went through very difficult emotional experiences, leading to a dark night of the soul, and emerging with a much deeper understanding of human nature and how reality works. I began to understand that there was more to reality than meets the eye, and that our world is made up of energy, frequencies, and energetic patterns…all of which we can work with to create transformation in our lives.
At the end of January 2023 I left my long-time job in the criminal justice field and followed my heart to pursue a full-time career as a writer, author, and entrepreneur.
Let me tell you, it hasn’t always been easy, but it has been worth it!
