While relaxing one day I noticed the red hibiscus flower, bright, full, proud, and radiant.
Eye catching.
As I spent time gazing at the red hibiscus flower, really noticing and appreciating it, I got the strong sense that the vibration of this flower, or in other words its message, was about being in the present moment.
Being-here-now.
Since that time, its message has continued to come back to me over and over again.
Flowers carry specific vibrations which is why working with flower essences, or simply being in a flower’s presence and gazing at it can offer us insights, and has an energetic effect on us.
The hibiscus flower starts off wound up tightly, before offering a full and radiant bloom. It then withers, winding back up to match the state it was in prior to its bloom, and falls off the bush—no longer holding on to what was.
Its amazing bloom is often fleeting, lasting only a day or two depending on the varietal. Its short bloom further exemplifies its message of presence, and of being in the moment now.
